final resting place (draw) or in the direction of the object rock (hit).

sequence.

IRONMAN BON SPIEL
A bon spiel in which a "team" is one or two people, male or
female, or mixed, who may deliver up to 8 rocks per end. Usually, a game consists of less
than the normal 8 ends common for club games.
JUNK It Up
A strategy of play in which many rocks are put in play to; hopefully,
by capitalizing on "lucky" bounces, to deter a more skilled team from
out-scoring an end.
JUNIORS
The Canadian Junior Championships.
KEEN ICE
Fast Ice. Low friction ice that allows a rock to travel hogline to
hogline in 13-1/2 seconds or more and draw to the "T"-line.
LEAD
The first player of each team to deliver their rocks.
LEG/FOOT WRAP
The wrapping of the slider foot/leg about the hack foot in the delivery
sequence. While it affords the curler a certain "flair"style, the motion does
introduce several variables of body motion that must be overcome during delivery; hence,
makes the delivery harder with non-repeatable accuracy.
