Hack Protector:
Now you can wail away at rocks in the house without a backup person stopping rocks from damaging the hacks. Your ice technician will think," this guy really cares."
Note that this homemade protector is cheap and disassembles into three pieces that fit into your brush bag.
The clear hose is water pipe flex hose. Glue the 2 - 10" pieces of flex hose into the T-PVC fitting and bolt the end " bumper" hoses with 1/4" x 1" bolts with washers. Total construction time about 1 hour.
Start with 4' of 1-1/2" PVC for the long shaft and then check out the length needed for your club. Hack to backboard distance varies at most  clubs.
You might make the long shaft 36" with a 6" extension piece pushed into a straight PVC connector when needed at a different club with backboards at 4'. Glue is not needed due to the friction fit.
All items purchased at a home supply or plumbing shop.
